January 31, 2011 11:15 am It seems like this is a simple supply and demand arguement to me and that's why there are more superhero comics. I buy all kinds of genres but more people seem to be mainly into Superhero comics becasue that is what they grew up on.  In order for this to change, it will be up to new readers not used to reading superhero comics, especially younger children. The problem with this is if you tak a child into a comic shop what books are they likely to pick up, a grim and gritty western or a Spider-Man comic? Good article Josh and I agree with you on this one 100%.
