Wow this was just nasty and I LOVED IT!  In fact, I liked everything
about this issue. Both the story and art were amazing.  This issue is
marks the end of the “Insane in the Brain” story arc.  The fight scene
between Logan and Dr. Rot is gruesome and never before have I seen such
graphic use of intestines in a story.  Jason Aaron has done a great job
introducing a new villain for Wolverine.  I hope we get to see more of
Dr. Rot in the future and if the conclusion of this issue is any
indication we will.  The art is this issue was fantastic.  Paquette is really good with facial expressions and the fight scene was sick.  I also really liked the panel work.  It was very asymmetrical.  There were a few pages where the panels were arranged like shards of broken glass or looked as though Wolverine cut through them that worked well.  This was probably my favorite issue since the conclusion of the last arc.  Jason Aaron really know how to close a story and go out with a bang.
