I’ m really going to miss J. Michael Straczynski on this comic very much.  Each issue has been great and this one is no exception.  Okalhoma Diner owner Bill or “William” as he is called by the Asgardians steals the show.  In this issue he lets his curiousity get the better of him. Bill ventures off to discover what plans Doom and Loki are hatching and in the process he gets impaled by some Asgardians.  I like how JMS uses Bill to portray the human perspective in the world of Asgard.  The reader gets to see Asgard society through Bill’s eyes.  Also in this issue Thor and Sif begin to adapt to life outside of Asgard as Sif adopts a dual identity to fit into the mortal realm.  To bring the comic relief, we have Volstagg, Hogun, and Fandral who chose to stay in Oklahoma and interact with the townsfolk.  Marko Djurdjevic does the art in this issue and whether he is doing the painted cover or the pencils in the interior all of it is great. I especially like his Loki and Dr. Doom. What really stood out for me was the snow scene where Bill makes his last stand.  Up next is the giant size issue that will tie up this story arc.  I hate waiting for conclusions like this but I am willing if ending will be has good as the ride to get there.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 5 - Excellent
