Judd Winick catches alot of shit for being a bad writer but I've liked his previous work on GL and Exiles and he doesn't disappoint here in this issue.  He captures Dick's personality perfectly.  I really liked the part were he tells the JLA how things are going to be and how Bruce would want his death to be handled.  I also thought that the scene between Alfred and Dick was touching and appropriate.  If you hadn't read Battle for the Cowl then you could have picked up this issue and gotten right into the story.  The only problem with this issue is that DC should have released it before Batman and Robin #1.
