I could give two shits about continuity in comics, I mean it is all made up anyway right? Continuity normally confusing me to no end anyhow and I don’t have enough time to connect the dots. That said this was great. This and Batman and Robin can exist in both worlds or parallel worlds or Earth 2-4521851 and they would still be good first issues. It was nice to see the Bat family in mourning without having them do clichéd things like screaming into the night during the rainstorm or taking aggression out on bad guys till a partner pulls them back from brink. The Damien, Alfred and Dick’s interactions are very interesting and complicated and could really be explored and expanded as the series goes on.
