I’m not a big X-Men fan, by any means, but Uncanny X-Force is a great comic. Opena and Remender have brought their A game to this book. I love Opena’s art style, especially his decrepit looking Archangel. The colors are so vibrant yet the art is so dark. This makes for a really great contrast. I also love the character interaction Remender provides in this issue. The Deadpool and Archangel scenes were very funny but my favorite scenes involved Wolverine and Fatom X. Their banter back and forth had me giggling like a school girl. The creative team put out a fast paced and action packed good read. To top it off, the ending to this issue came out of no where and left me craving the next one. Even in a week with the whole Fantastic Four death thing, this is my pick of the week.

  1. Easy pick of the week. Great ending too. That’s a long space ship ride back to the X-Cave.
