  1. I agree that it fizzled out, but very much enjoyed everything about this series until the last half of this issue.  That being said, I think it would have been a huge mistake to make this any longer.  I’m already tired of the "meet a new black lantern, have them fuck wtih the character’s mind" trope that is being used in all the minis and supporting books.  The latest BN ushered in a change in direction, and all the supporting books need to reflect that.

And I’m hoping Etrigan shows up later in the main series, but I doubt it 🙁

  2. I don’t even understand what happened in the end.  Why did they freeze theirselves and what happened to the Black Lantern Drakes and Graysons.  I don’t even understand.  Zero stars.  I don’t even feel like reading it again to find out anyway.  Oh well.  Of course I can’t get my 3 bux back either.

  3. @robbydzwonar: They stole a trick from Arnold in Predator.  Instead of infrared vision, the Black Lanterns see emotions.  By freezing themselves they appeared to be unconscious.  No thoughts, no emotions so the the Black Lanterns couldn’t see them.  This was really the only new tidbit of info I got about the Black Lanterns in this issue.

  4. the ending felt to me more anticlimactic than rushed because the pretty much let them go, but there was no way the could really beat them so i can live with that ending.
