Boy am I glad Peter Tomasi step down as a editor and became a writer.  His Green Lantern Corp and Nightwing books are excellent and The Mighty #1 is no exception.  It’s written with a noir feel to it that I like.  Alpha One the world’s only genuine superhero in The Mighty is like an almalgam of DC and Marvel heroes in orgin and powers.  What’s more interesting is that this hero has his own clean up crew, a personal world police force known as the Omega Corp.  The story is told from the point of view of on of its members Gabriel Cole.  It looks like he is in for a series of twist and turns as we see just how far the rabbit hole goes, as they say.I can’t wait to see what Tomasi has in stole for Alpha One and Gabriel Cole in this new comic series.
