This was my most anticipated read of the week and rightly so. This one issue adds back story and secret reveals that completely change the whole context of the book. The highlight of this issue was the surprise twist ending. After Dara defeats all her foes and gets her revenge she decides to destroy the sword. However, this final act has sealed her fate. Without the sword all of Dara's past injuries come back. This is most evident by the "jaw dropping" injury she received many issues ago. The art on that page was so shocking that no words were even needed. The image definitely conveyed the situation. She then dies in her childhood home at the very spot she found the sword. I was saddened to see the protagonist die but it is pretty clear from day one she is living on borrowed time. The book then ends with a flash of white followed by a sequence of Dara rejoining her family has if nothing ever happened. Is this what Dara sees before she dies, is she in Heaven, or did anything actually ever happen? These are question left to be interpreted by the reader, you decide. This was quite simply an awesome ending to a great book. What ever the Luna brothers plan to work on next, it's a safe bet I'll be on board.

Great review. Gave me some more insight that I didn’t have before. Man that was a great issue! Not I gotta buy everything.
If I didn’t already have all the issues I’d buy an Omnibus if it were released.
Very nice review.
