So we reach the end of Aaron’s great on this book and all I say is YES!… and NO! Aaron penned a great done-in-one story about the mourning of a friend. He just gets the relationship between Wolverine and Nightcrawler and showcases it here brilliantly. My problem with this issue is the art. It was just plan awful. Another inker or colorist could have cleaned the art up a bit but I think it still would have turned out bad. I can still get into a story if either the art or story aren’t good if the other is but it really takes away from the book. Even if the art is bad this is still worth a read. I just hope Aaron gets a better artist for Wolverine #1.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 1 - Poor

Comments

  1. I would more blame the penciler than the colorist but yeah the art was pretty bad.

  2. That is what I was saying, the pencils are so bad that even if you had top notch inkers and colorist it would still loook bad.
