This  was the best issue yet.  This reminds me a lot of the manga Berserk but without the supernatural element.  In this issue life becomes more disposable than an old razor and this really expresses how ruthless the viking era was.  There is no hero in this book, nor a villain.  Everyone is morally gray and looking out for their best interest.  The story reads a little slow but it’s solid and that ok because it lets you really take in the wonderful art.  The highlight of this book is Klein’s beautiful art.  The extra large pages make that even better and at a cover price of $2.99 it is worth the read.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
