JONAH HEX #41

Another great issue!  I love David Michael Beck’s art.  He give Hex and even more hard edge badass look.  I like the normal format of the done-in-one book that Jonah Hex is acustom  to but I have really dug this 2 parter.  My favorite Hex stories are the ones with grindhouse type horror elements like this one.  To top it off Tallulah Black has come back for these past couple of issues.  This book remains my favorite book each month and is the first I read.  I look forward to the next issue.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. This met my expectations as well.

I don’t even hold it against them when they used the dream cliche with Tallulah Black.

  2. @ScorpionMasada the dream thing is cliche but more in the horror genre than westerns.  Actually I was pissed at first, I didn’t know it was a dream until I turned the page. I kind of liked the surprise and I hope to see Tallulah Black appear in more issues.

  3. I totally agree with you. The cliche didn’t bother me cuz I didn’t want her dead, but the shock of her death was effective.

It also gives you some insight into Jonah’s feelings about her.
