The Return of Winter Soldier: Brubaker Speaks!
November 3, 2011 7:50 pm Fuck, really? Look I like Bucky and was happy when they brought him back. Brubaker's work with the character has been some of his best writing. I normally don't even mind "comic book death". However, for this specific character, alive, dead, fake dead, alive again, is fucking lame. I would have much rather had Brubaker's original idea take place and have him die in the gulag instead of using him for the sake of an EVENT. Also I agree with John that they could have put this little revealation in F.I. #7. I'm not buying any of the F.I. point issues.
