Perhaps it is unfair, but the comparison is inevitable in my mind. This is scarcely a glimmer of the wonderful…

This is likely the best issue of Aaron’s tenure on this title thus far. The story is beginning to make…

November 26, 2012 6:46 pm Its actually Battle Royale in the Marvel U. That cover is a direct rip from the imagery of the Japanese movie version.
November 25, 2012 11:00 am This book needs to get back to telling Spiderman stories. This isn't a Spiderman story. Its actually verging on a train wreck. You have a 12 year old kid in this ridiculous, violent battle.... and he's totally okay with it? I call bullshit.
November 19, 2012 8:19 pm BQ: Well, I reckon I'll sit around and write up some technical documents.
November 19, 2012 12:32 pm The comic market seems fairly inelastic. Price isn't what has driven people away. At least not on the main.
November 14, 2012 9:36 pm Pretty good book. Above average writing, plotting and whatnot. But Ribic's art is what makes this book top notch, not Aaron's writing.
November 12, 2012 11:01 pm We will see if this book is worth much. Aaron is very much a hit or miss writer for my tastes. Some things very good, other things are utter bollocks. I think his contracted work with Marvel has mostly fallen into the latter category so far.
November 12, 2012 12:11 pm I cannot claim to have seen them all, but I have seen 6 or 7 and disliked them all. They all came from different eras, such as the Connery and Dalton and Brosnan and even Casino Royale.
November 8, 2012 9:53 am So many rumors about the inevitable demise of Vertigo seem to be more and more credible. Lots of high level series are ending, none are really coming down the pipes. That will annoy me if true. Vertigo has traditionally been a great place to go for serious, strange, adult comics and without them it wel become more difficult to sort wheat and chafe. Image already gets more of my patronage than the Big 2, best bet is that tend will continue.
November 5, 2012 6:31 pm Lincoln. Bond is... terrible. Never enjoyed it.
