Truly a tale of two books from both a story and art standpoint. There are at least two styles of art in here and they did not play well together for my eye. Perhaps the coloring or inking were different as the lines seemed to have a similar character in general. Additionally there are two primary plots ongoing, the tale of Buffkin the rebel and of Bigby's children. Of the two I am vastly more intrigued by the children and feel somewhat ambivalent about Buffkin. The monkey had a few issues to himself a short time back and I am not prepared for his revival to eminence as to yet. However, the children's 'quest' to become King of the North Wind captures a shadow of Snow and Bigby's glory, which is perhaps the best period of the book's august history. Still a strong book, but it has faded just a flux from my mind as we are amidst many questions and have few answers.
