First, glowing praises for the art in this book. Kubert is really showing strong as the story time hops from ancient battlefields to future tech fantasies. The lines are nice and fun to look at; very reminiscent of early 2000's masterworks. Great figure acting has run throughout this series and continues in this issue.

Aaron is not an author that I have made a great effort to follow, but everything I have read by him show excellent craft. This story shows that as well with snappy dialogue that shows an understanding of the characters. The plot, however, is mildly confusing until we reach the big reveal of this issue: Mojo. An oft overlooked villain of X-Men fame who makes for a fun, frantic (sometimes terrifying) set piece for heroes to deal with. Once Mojo is revealed all the earlier pieces instantly make sense and work perfectly. Bravo, Aaron.
