This book tells the story of the aftermath of the 'war' that the X-Men have been undergoing for the last several months.  It focuses primarily on Emma running about smoothing over business, acting as ambassador and generally being a master administrator. However, she never seems to have an obvious or clear goal. So it begs the questions, what is Emma doing? Sometimes she flirts with men, other times she rebuffs them harshly. Is she supposed to be cheating on Scott? I do not think so but it it difficult to tell with the MTV-like edits between scenes. I get the impression that we are being set up for a Scott-Emma break up, but I've had that impression for a year or more and nothing has come of it. It is a bit like a reverse Moonlighting. The secondary story lines were not particularly interesting, but I believe that they are in nascent stages as to yet. Finally, the art was choppy at best. There are good panels, some decent layouts but for each page of those there is a page that is disjointed, confusing or just poorly drawn.
