May 7, 2012 8:58 pm I've dropped a bunch of comics where the story just seemed too drawn out/decompressed, but Morning Glories has really held my interest. Maybe its all the expanded pages counts. Thirty pages helps.

April 25, 2012 2:03 pm I for one pre-order the book without looking at whether it has a cross-over attached. If I am not interested in the crossover I won't run out and grab the other issues, but just stick with the issue I already paid for. Plus, if you are going to get only one issue then the end of the story is probably the least annoying to have.

April 25, 2012 2:00 pm I am in the camp that Greg Land has gotten definitely better/less trace-y in the past 6-12 months. But his faces for women... UG! They are all the same woman making the same orgasm face. God help you if he draws a blonde out of uniform. It could be almost anyone. If he worked on his female faces I think I might be able to read an issue of his without cringing.

April 24, 2012 9:17 pm Gillen has flashes of brilliance on X-men and then stretches that don't seem to do much or go anywhere. I don't get any sense that he has a vision for the X-men like he clearly does for Loki (JIM is amazing). I keep hoping this will all gel together. His Fear Itself issues were surprisingly fun, so maybe the AvX will pull the same trick.

April 24, 2012 9:12 pm Except for the tale end of the Trench storyline, which I felt got a bit muddled, this these issues have been fantastic. But JLA and GL have been leaving me cold, so go figure.

April 24, 2012 9:01 pm Impulse pre-order this and #2 for the hell of it. Fortunately common sense caught up before pre-ordering #3. Of course if this is somehow amazing I will be slightly sad... but only $2 worth, as that is what it will take to buy it at my LCS. Please give us real bad ass moments and not X-Sanction complete lack of badassitude. Please?
