  1. Anything important happen in the Punisher issue? I missed it.

  2. Loving the Checcetto art throughout this Omega Effect.

  3. Damn that cover is rad, I like how even the barcode is askew. I’ve really enjoyed “The Omega Effect” so far, it will be interesting to see how it all wraps up.

  4. Can’t wait to sit down with all three issues this week.

And I think the next Avenging is only a week or two after.

  5. Sadly not going to get this because I didn’t care for this crossover. Excited for #12 though!

  6. Was about to make a comment about the cover, but then I remembered how the last issue ended. This is going to be SO good!

  7. I ignore most crossovers and still enjoy the books. It’s not like DC where you NEED the other ones. Rather, they catch you up in the beginning. Love that.

  8. Looking forward to this. Haven’t read the other issues. Don’t care. I’ll probably enjoy this just the same.

  9. DD is a very good title and there has been one issue that was just sub-par out of the 11 issues so far and I can’t even remember which one it is now. The artwork and the covers have all been very, very good and the story lines and plots have been fun and very mysterious. Last issue I enjoyed DD showing his true “man without fear” monicar; he went straight at the criminal organizations and told them whats gonna be what; awesome!!

  10. I think its weird that DD (being the best title) gets the most pulls but this is the last issue in the OE cross over. But the other two issues did not get as many pulls or POW than DD already has. Doesn’t everybody reading this title want the whole story? Not just the ending? The cross over has truly been an epic journey and can not wait until i can get out of my schools grip and go buy this! The ending to the last issue was awesome and the preview for this issue has me already on the edge!

    • I picked up AvSM, but the plot of the crossover didn’t really grab me. “The Epic War of the Faceless Henchmen?” No thanks. However, DD is one of my favorite books, and I don’t wanna miss it. Go figure.

    • I for one pre-order the book without looking at whether it has a cross-over attached. If I am not interested in the crossover I won’t run out and grab the other issues, but just stick with the issue I already paid for. Plus, if you are going to get only one issue then the end of the story is probably the least annoying to have.

  11. Did anyone else catch the Mike Allred letter in the letter column at the end? Pretty funny, and having an issue of Daredevil drawn by Allred would be amazing!

the weakest book in the omega effect storyline, but it was still very good. i really thought frank had something up his sleeve. some plan of obtaining the drive. i thought for sure both punisher and punisherette were in on it together. that the drive she gave back to DD was a fake and that frank had played DD and spider-man both from the get-go.
i was getting really excited at the idea of a new punisher arc where he is going after hydra and the rest. real black ops type of stuff. splinter cell meets call of duty, type of stuff.
    oh well, they got me.
    4/5

    • i didn’t quite get the ending, bro.
      mind explaining it to me?

and why wouldn’t they use the drive?

    • what part about it is giving you trouble exactly. did you read only this issue or the entire omega effect?
i’m happy to help, i just need to know where to start.

  13. This, for me, was the weakest issue of Daredevil since Waid began.

  14. Gave this a true 4 since I promised myself to be a little harder on my grading. With that said this was action, action, action and the artwork continues to be wonderful. I was kinda of confused at parts I think due to the fact that there were other elments involved here other then just the DD story arc. Punisher and Spidey and that lady type Punisher just kinda were there all of a sudden although I finally caught up to where we were so it really was not that bad. I liked the interaction between all characters in this issue after I caught up, was just a good action type comic and you can’t go wrong there.

    • I take it this issue was a cross over or something?

      K

    • the omega effect. a 3 part arc that crossed over into punisher and avenging spider-man.
if you liked this issue, i highly recommend picking up its counterparts. checchetto did the pencils in all three books, while waid and rucka split the writing.
      awesome stuff.

  15. Weakest Daredevil book Waid has done so far, but still not bad at all. I’m just not a fan of the Punisher’s crap. It was cool seeing DD put Cole in her place. She could turn out to be an interesting character down the line. I also love any time Devil teams up with Spidey. Very awesome team. Spidey being the obviously way more powerful and able but slightly immature and silly one, DD being the rough no nonsense badass with very limited powers and a physical handicap. They balance each other out perfectly and I always think back to the time Spider-Man brought Daredevil to the place of Gwen’s death while Daredevil was mourning the loss of Karen Page.
