For starters let me just I am loving the art on this new run. Kev Walker has a fantastic stylized, cartoony look combined with great composition and solid storytelling. I had never heard of him before. but apparently he is a Brit that up until now has not done much Marvel work outside of the Marvel Zombies Parts  58 through one million. He is definitely somebody to watch.

Jeff Parker's story continues to move forward briskly. We get a clever exposition on the present powers of all the new team members hidden in a "test" of their loyalty and the safeguards Cage has insisted be in place. After a brief interlude where we check in on a couple of loose ends from Thunderbolts/Seige crossover (Nuke and poor Captain America rip-off #3? #4? I lose track), we finally take these new misfits out for a mission. We try the new transportation via Man Thing, but it is actually a bit anti-climatic. Somebody needs to burn from fear and soon! Finally we hunt some trolls, which are actually a bit lame.

Still, all in all Parker moved all his pieces into motion nicely. If you came on board in #144 you should have all you need to enjoy this. The characters, particularly the "ex-villains" need a lot more exploration, but now that the set-up is basically done, there should be some more time/space for that. If the art holds up this may have the makings for a fun ride.
