Fantastic finale to this story arc. Everybody bad guy gets what is coming to them... Well, every bad guy except for the six running this book. Each sequence is the next character out badassing the previous one. I have thought that Simone's Wonder Woman was all right, but her Secret Six is her firing on all cylinders. Gail seems to excel when she really has the freedom to do whatever she wants, letting her sly humor and devilish cruelty play out without needing to worry about the impact of comic history or DC continuity. And I know she can write Wonder Woman like that, because she does in this series: Here Wonder Woman acts with a certain ruthlessness that might be difficult to pull off in her own book with all its "Trinity" baggage.
And Nicola Scott has really come into her own. She deserves and will probably soon receive a much more high profile book, which is too bad for Secret Six lovers. I believe there was a little fill in art in this issue, but it blended well enough that it didn't jump out at me or diminish the great art Scott is doing.

I second your positive review. I am not a big DC fan, but this is the one DC book that I am really enjoying. This issue was the perfect blend of action and character. I like how the Secret Six are at times morally challenged, but have a core of decency. If Gail Simone wrote Wonder Woman more like the way she writes the Banshee character in this book, WW would probably become a top seller.
Making WW Banshee would probably be pushing it. A certain nobility and honor is core to the Wonder Woman character. It might be interesting to crank up WW’s haughty to 11 and see how that affects her interactions with the rest of DC though; she could be warrior, diplomat, morally pure, and a stone-cold ice bitch. Then include some more vulnerable scenes (vulnerable for WW) with Etta Candy or something so she is not completely inaccessible as a character. Just a thought. WW (the present comic) just seems to be wavering on the edge of interesting and we know Gail has the ability to put her over the edge.
