  1. I honestly don’t expect this to have anything to do with continuity.  Considering that Emma’s involvement has already been revealed and nobody seems to care.

I disagree about "The List" though; it’s a good one-shot Namor story that continues the Utopia story.  Just because something’s a one-shot doesn’t make it useless.

  2. @ohc: ?? How can you not expect this to have anything to do with continuity when the whole point of this one-shot was to flesh-out and expand a scene that was kinda pivotal to recent continuity? The rationale behind this issue was "Yeah, readers would actually want to see more of what happened between Emma and Cyke, so it’s let them in on what happened." I agree with you about The List, though; I liked it a lot more than "Confession", but I didn’t hate "Confession" either.

  3. Because character continuity in these books sucks, and I don’t expect that to change?

  4. I thought "The List" was an acceptable Namor story. Parts of it worked for me, but the whole thing had a rushed not well thought out feel to me. What irritated me more was the "X-men" put in big letters on the cover. They were only tangentially involved and it was probably their involvement that ended up destroying the pacing and otherwise interesting aspects dealing directly with Namor and Osborn. I am not saying any of this surprised me. I have been collecting X-Titles since 1985. I will keep coming back for punishment and Marvel knows it. But it can still be disappointing.
