Name: Joseph Compton

Bio: Well, I started reading comic back in '05, with comics like Astounding Spider-man, X-23, New Avengers, and Hercules. I mainly borrowed comics from my older brother for the first year, but I started buying them myself when Iron Fist and Ghost Rider where comic out. I mainly buy Marvel and Image comic, since my older brother has most the the DC titles to his pull list.I'm fairly an equal opportunity comic reader, so long as it doesn't such, I'll read it. Some of my favorite books are:Scott PilgrimGreat CatsbyInvincibleGrendelDoom Patrol (Morrison's run)Zot!DMZMadmanSwamp Thingand so on.I am hoping to break into comic book writing one day. A friend of mind and myself are working comic currently, and hoping to have it finished by the end of this year.

April 27, 2014 7:55 pm One comic for new dads (though it not a super hero book) Daytripper had about 3 issue about the main character dealing with fatherhood at different points in his life (from pre-father hood, Father Hood, and into Grandfather), as well as a few issue with him dealing with his own father.
April 2, 2013 8:09 am Still enjoying this books.
April 1, 2013 8:32 pm It's sad to see this end so soon, but I will say this book really hooked me in despite it's limited run, even with the last scene from the previous issue got to me more then any death scene in a comic.
October 9, 2012 7:47 am I just hope they do well enough to get a few trades worth of books.
October 8, 2012 10:59 pm I though the first issue was pretty solid, hope this turns out just as well.
October 1, 2012 10:41 pm Yes, it is indeed a good read. Also check out his new book "Multiple Warheads"
October 1, 2012 9:44 pm If you really do want to see more Big Wheel, then let me point you to what a group of my fellow local comic reader are going, called "Marvel Rebooted", a more serious take on Fan Fiction. (there is now "Slash" in this Fiction) http://www.marvelrebooted.com/ My brother is writing the new Spider-man story (co-plotted with me) and we have Web-Head facing off Big Wheel in the first story. A lot of people say it was balls to do, but I though it fit in quite well. http://www.marvelrebooted.com/spider-man-1/ Hope you enjoy it.
September 18, 2012 9:07 pm I truely hope they stick with that.
September 18, 2012 9:06 pm oh yeah.
September 17, 2012 9:49 pm I'm glade this book didn't have to get dragged down with all this AvX mess.
