If you take only one thing with your by the end of this review, it should be this…

Immortal Rich people are fucked up.

This two issue arch is a perfect call back to the bizarre and gruesome Vertigo roots of the Doom Patrol. I was honestly wondering how far Giffen was going to push it, while still remaining, in what I’m assuming is the T rating. (notice there is not age rating on the cover.)

Regardless, we get a cool story of DP fighting the prestigious Aristocrats, some new tricks by Negativeman, and some creepy ass Silent Hill-ish Mutants.

This was a strong issue, with grate art as always provided by Matthew Clark and Ron Randall. Plus, I can’t wait to see what Giffen does with these new villains in the future.

If you still haven’t picked this up, now is a good time to Give DP a try.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 5 - Excellent
