So Ghost Rider 0.1, more like Ghost Rider Pointless.
One of the hardest parts of wanting to support your favorite B/ C- List comic characters, is when there is a writer on it that does a terrible job on it.
It’s not possible for everyone to do as good of a job as Aaron did when he was on Ghost Rider, but Williams really does not fit the bill. His characterization and voice of Johnny Blaze are just way off. This is most evident when Williams really tries to play up the Southern accent on Blaze; Remember this people, if you don’t know who to write a person with a accent, then don’t over do it.
The Story is not well written either, all that is covered in this 0.1 issue, is  Blaze getting drunk while he bitches and muons about how he doesn’t want to be the Ghost Rider and how he can’t trust anyone.
Matthew Clark on art, does a solid job, and is pretty much the only thing that saves this from being a 1 star book. However, Clark’s design of Blaze look more like Blaze’s Brother Danny, which is a bit off putting.
Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 3 - Good

  1. Good review. I love Ghost Rider and I loved the art, but the story sucked. Ghost Rider also suffers from the problem of having too many people retconning him. He’s back to having sold his soul to Mephisto, not the devil, and his power is no longer an angel.
