Okay, so I wanted to write a review for the first issue that
came out, but I though I'd wait till the second issue was out. The reason why,
is that both issue you can't review as a whole, but rather review each
individual story. Even more so since they revealed, that Marvel will publish a
series of one of the stories. That right people, it was a pilot comic, and you
can Vote over witch one you liked best. So here's a quick run down of the
stories.
1) D-Man (aka Demolition Man) Written by: Brain Patchett drawn
by: Xurxo G. Penalta Edited by: Alejandro Arbona
So D-man is a character I'm not familiar with, has the stander Captain America
like powers, and used to be an addict working for the Power Broker. So after
his fall from grace, he decides to enlist for the War in
The idea is interesting enough, but I'm not sure how it would hold up on its
own story.

2) American Eagle Written by Jason Aaron Art by: Richard
Isanove Edited by Lauren Sankovitch
Alright, so American Eagle I knew a bit about since his appearance in Thunder
Bolts. The story picks up with an old Captain American villain, Cottonmouth,
who had recently robbed a bank and kidnapped a child. Even though
I really enjoyed this one, and if they keep the same team, I can see this as a
new comic series to pick up. In fact American Eagle I can see as being my next favorite
B-hero (right along Iron Fist, Ghost Rider, and War Machine)

3) Hawkeye Mini-marvel. By: Chris Giarrusso edited by: Nathan
Cosby
I just go to say this. It's Mini-marvel, if you've read enough Mini-marvel, you
know what to what's to come. With just a story of Hawkeye saving the Avenger
from the Crimson King.
I can't see this getting it own comic series, mainly because I'm use to seeing
it in the back of the marvel comics. But would be to bad in trades like that up

4) Luke Cage (aka Power Man) written by: Wyatt Cenac art
by: Todd Nauck Edited by: Tom Brennan.
There are two things that surprised me about this; 1, why does Power Man not
have his own comic, rather then be a cast member or a side character. 2, I'm surprised
that Bendis didn't volunteer to right it. If what they say about Bendis is true
that is. You know what I mean *wink* *wink*
The story fallow Cage, as this guy tries to convince him to run for Borough
President or "Beep", who helps the mayor decide what's best for
Brooklyn. Which Cage declines till he finds out the current "Beep" is
crooked and trying to being down the local shops and schools to build a base
ball arena. So it's up to Cage to put a stop to him.
Like I said, why doesn't Cage have his own series already? Ms. Marvel has her
own comic, maybe if Cage had big boobs people might read it.

4) Galacta (aka the hot daughter of Galactus) writen by: Adam
Warren art by: Hector Sevilla Lujan edited by: Jordan D. White
Now here was something I never knew, Galacuts has daughter, and she good. The
story is just a day of her life and how she coupes with her two big problems.
1) Always hungry. 2) Daddy issue. Unlike her dad, she doesn't want to eat
earth, but rather eat the harmful stuff brought down to earth by aliens, such
as removing the bacterium brought down by the Skrulls, from human that have
fallen ill due to it. Or eating up Thermophile Lithometallovores, that came
from the Kree Moon's. But she has come to realize her Hunger is getting worst
and worst, only to find out, she has the comic equivalent to a Tapeworm. Though
she hates to do it, she has to turn to her father for help.
My only complaint with this is that I kind of wish
This comic I can see more of a min series rather then an ongoing comic. But I
would still like to read it.

6) Elsa Bloodstone written by: Chris Yost art by: John
James Edited by: Daniel Hetchum
I remember Elsa from Ellis's Nextwave comics, but I didn't know much
about her aside from her killing monster. This story does explain a bit of her origins
and her Father, and how she hate that her father placed this task upon her. Not
much else to it other then the fun of killing monsters.
Bloodstone I can see as either a mini or on-goingcomic. Either way, I wouldn't
mind reading it.

So there you have it folks, my 6 review for two issues. Go to the Marvel site
and vote for your fav. The Poll are open now (4/29) and end in a week (5/6) here the link to the site:
http://www.marvel.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=154413
Now you don't have to fallow my opinion, but I say vote for either American Eagle or Galacta.
