This issue of Xanadu is a truly heart wrenching story of a boy, named Sammy, who aimlessly wonders the big city, lost in a haze of his own thoughts and fears, with nothing but a awful odor that repeals any who come near him. Wagner’s childrens book like story telling; accompanied by Chrissie Zullo’s art, which has a reminiscent feel of Little Nemo: In Slumber Land, really dives the tragic life that Sammy lives.
This story nearly brought a tear to my eye, the likes of which only comics like Day Tripper and I Kill Giants has been able to do.
I mgith even go so far as to say this was on of the best issue in the Madame Xanadu comic.
Simply terreific.

Story: 5 - Excellent
