I new it was only a pipe dream, to hope that Morrison would one day return to his first born in the Marvel world. Was it just too much to ask, to have Christos Gage write this, after all the Krew was in The Avengers: The Initiative. I had some hope from that mini-story in the Dark Reign New Nation (think that was the name), because that was pretty good. But this one just felt…’meh’. Now Maybe I set my expectations too high. I was so hoping to see Ryder be like the new Iron Fist or War Machine, but I can see it will likely be like Moon Knight; great at first, then some HBO write takes them down.
*sigh*

The story was okay at best, not quite as funny as I had hoped for. The art is kind like Humberto Ramos in a ways. I just hope the next issue turns it round.
