Okay, so after reading the first issue of this mini, there are already 2 possible retcons being thrown around. I’m not going to “spoil” them, even though there is not much to spoil since both of the ideas are completely inane. My question is, do they really need to add unnecessary complications to the backstory of the Skrull Kill Krew? It was a cool thing for fans when they were brought back for Secret Invasion, but now Marvel is trying to rationalize the existence of this mini by making it seem like there is more to these characters than meets the eye. There’s not. Or at least, in my eyes, there shouldn’t be. As for the rest of the issue, the writers attempts at humor fall completely flat, and the art is from the Humberto Ramos school of crappy American manga. I say skip it, even if you are a diehard SKK fan, if someone like that truly exists.
