What is best in life?
well a new Conan book for one.
And a new book by Brian Wood and Becky Cloonan.
So together, that’s even better.

A really solid and familiar story of Young Conan being what we know and love about him, as he just jumps into a situation and goes along with them as he see fit.
Here we got Conan as he leaps aboard with some sea traders, only to run into a feared ship of reavers led by BĂȘlit, the Queen of the Black Coast; Who seem to captivate Conan’s mind.

The real treat to this book, is seeing the very fluid and beautiful art work by Becky Cloonan. With Dave Stewart provide a awesome job on colors, bringing with it a very clean and clear look that that brings a kind of life to the art.

A excellent start to a comic for new and old fans of the Conan series.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
