BATMAN #23
August 15, 2013 4:34 am And on a side note, the red hood gang was nothing but a gang of common thugs, no matter which incantation of the title you would like to refer to.
The fact that Snyder is even questioning a possibility of the joker actually being legitimately crazy before the "accident" at the chemical factory thus opening the possibility of the accident "releasing the demon within" is about as asinine as Bruce going through 4 robins and a batgirl in the span of 7 years

BATMAN #23
August 15, 2013 4:23 am Lol alright, I'll humor you ;)
Unfair?
Gates of Gotham was unfair
The entire owls storyline was unfair
Even death of the family was unfair.
Superman Unchained was just Lee exercising his fetish for the hottest commodity today just to feel "relevant"
Yes Zero Year has ALOT to live up to ill give the devil his due, but if you're Snyder and you're as hellbent on straying from the Miller route as you've advertised to be then there should be ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FROM MILLER AT ALL!
You either go big or go home, that's how the business goes and I guarantee you that even Snyder will admit that this was not his hottest issue once its all over.

The ones on the duplicate are not. :)

GREEN LANTERN #0
September 7, 2012 11:15 pm Here's a little comment that will end any and all speculation
The reason Johns made Baz Arab-American was NOT diversity (let's be honest the GL Corps are the most diverse group of heroes in existence.) it was to portray a part of himself in this run.
As in this is Geoff Johns' baby
As in he put a part of himself I this book
As in Geoff Johns is Arab-American.
When a writer is on his way out they tend to leave something behind for people to remember them by.
Chick Dixon-Bane
Grant Morrison- Damian and half of the post final crisis bat-rogues
Dan slot- Alpha
Ron Marz- KYLE RAYNER!!
Geoff Johns- Simon Baz
Do you see the pattern?!?!!!
Geoffs run on GL is about to end in a couple of years.
This is his baby, a part of him to be remembered until the end of time.
FACT CHECK IT!
I DARE YA!!

JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL #1
August 29, 2012 8:53 pm It was a great book but in the grand scheme of things it was nothing but support to the main league, it was not game changing like GL Annual #1
The ratings are compare it to all the other books not to itself.
Any given day of the week this book would have gotten a 4 to 4
There just happens to be better things out there this week.

THE FLASH #12
August 22, 2012 10:48 am there's a BIG difference between very enjoyable and amazing...if you had fun reading it then it was very enjoyable, if it grabbed you by the balls and made you beg for more then it was amazing..like i said before the only redeemable quality was the art, there's an old saying in the business
a great story can carry crappy art to a certain point, but amazing art can carry crappy story telling the entire way.
in other words i may not have enjoyed the story itself but the art was very enjoyable.

BEFORE WATCHMEN: OZYMANDIAS #2
August 18, 2012 12:45 am Recent history is the keyword..how many times have you heard DC or Marvel tackle , pertain to or make a story revolving around a COCAINE BUST Recent history means in the past 10 years.
Their drugs usually have a code name behind it, bane venom, joker gas, fear gas, but NEVER cocaine.
The last time anyone truly tackled drugs on a mainstream platform was back in the Green Lantern/ Green Arrow O'Neil/Adams run
"Snow Birds Don't Fly" was the name of the tale and that took place in the height of the 80's that's 30+ years ago, surely it's not recent history. They tackled heroine back then, never cocaine
Thus this is the FIRST TIME in RECENT HISTORY that any of the big two talked about drugs so bluntly ever since that run in the 80's.
That's why this book made history.
If you have any more questions or remarks or if you recall more events from the past 10 that talked about drugs about as blunt as this book, I would love to hear them. :)

THE WALKING DEAD #101
August 15, 2012 8:46 pm I used to read the trades and honestly I STAYED AWAY from ALL reviews until I caught up because most of these reviews do contain some sort of spoiler to what I had not read yet at the time.
I do apologize to those who read this and haven't caught up. I'll be sure to take this into consideration next issue.
Thank you for the input :)

GREEN LANTERN #8
April 16, 2012 2:01 pm this single issue proves that were not dealing with a reboot but with a PARTIAL RELAUNCH..this book alone proves that the GL continuity still stands proud and has not been altered or affected by the headache we reviewers like to call the New 52
