Geoff Johns has a great grasp on what makes a compelling Green Lantern story for me. I know a lot of readers ant more Hal Jordan centric stories but I think the focus on deepening the mythology around all the colored corps in the universe is really awesome. The Indigo Tribe has been the most secretive group and that makes its unraveling here intense. Black Hand and Sinestro have some great moments here and I can’t wait for the next issue.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good

Comments

  1. The story was very absorbing and a great way to come back to Abin Sur. The only downfall was the art which felt a little all over the place. NOK

  2. The story has been very hypnotic, I was going to refer to it as luminous. Bringing it back to abin sur and the last page was phenomenal, I would recommend this to any comic fan. before the dc reboot I was had no dc subscriptions due to a lack of interest but since the new 52. This series, The New Guardians, The Red Lanterns, and many others are well worth it. the art on this book was less defined but it was that bad. I gave it 5 stars

  3. this single issue proves that were not dealing with a reboot but with a PARTIAL RELAUNCH..this book alone proves that the GL continuity still stands proud and has not been altered or affected by the headache we reviewers like to call the New 52
