As the half year long struggle between Marvel’s two flagship teams comes to its penultimate issue, we finally see the exact direction where the house of ideas wanted to take the Phoenix. It was a solid read; on a personal note this series could have been shorter. Spite of the panels being all over the place this issue was somewhat easy to follow. The art was good and the story was enjoyable. If you’ve stuck this far, see it through, but if this is your first time reading it, just wait for the trade.
