Though this title has its trials and tribulations, this book was a fun ride nonetheless. Geoff Johns and Dan DiDio wrote this annual, but before you go knock it and start using it for toilet paper, just take note that this may or may not be the final adventure of the JLI for the foreseeable future. There’s not much to say without giving it away, but I can assure you they knocked it out of the park, the writing was good and the art was solid. In the end this may or may not be the end for this League but it sure is the start of something new.

    So why only 3/3?

    To me, “knocked it out of the park” is at least a 4 to 5. “Solid:” is a 3 to 4.

    Wondering if you found defects in some way, since I won’t see a copy of this book until Saturday.

      It was a great book but in the grand scheme of things it was nothing but support to the main league, it was not game changing like GL Annual #1
      The ratings are compare it to all the other books not to itself.
      Any given day of the week this book would have gotten a 4 to 4
      There just happens to be better things out there this week.

    Personally, I thought the art was great and the story was terrific. Full of action and setup for the future while finalizing key components and Booster got another kiss 🙂

    I don’t know what I’m going to do without Booster for the next few months… I sure hope he makes it back (this time with Rip and his own ongoing again).

    My favorite moments from the title include….the growth of Booster Gold throughout the title (and his budding romance with Godiva)…..Also enjoyed when OMAC joined, love the character…..looking forward to the next place he turns up.
