The first shots have definitely been fired in this initial chapter of DC’s
biggest comic book blockbuster of the summer, only 2 characters know of the
horrific acts that transpired or will transpire during the event, but one of them
may or may not live to warn the rest.
One can tell that Geoff Johns really cracked down and tried his best to knit
pick and carefully plan every panel, every line as if he were knitting a
tapestry who’s final design at the moment is only known to the creator and
those who can follow the threads, and who better to be the hands that weave it
than his long time Blackest Night buddy Ivan Reis.
This book started with a bang. Lets hope that it keeps it up and finishes like
so.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
