The final Chapter of the 5 stages of grief storyline. The theme here is
acceptance, and though we didn’t get a big over the top moment of realization
that most where hoping when we heard that Dick would be the bookend to this
saga, we did get the next best thing, a replay of what would have happened if
Bruce, Dick and Alfred would have known what they know now from that dreadful
night.
Tomassi’s writing could not be more elegant, and Gleason’s art remains as
powerful as they come.
And to them I say thank you for helping us through the loss of one of the most
beloved characters ever to dawn the red, green, and yellow.

P.S- prepare to choke up a little at the end of this.

  1. No kidding, Alfred carrying Damian back into the cave and Gleason drawing him actually looking like a 10 year old was like a gut punch.
