I really liked this book, just as I loved the original Pilot Season issue of Twilight Guardian. One of the main things I enjoy about…

October 20, 2010 4:57 pm Just read Fishtown beacause of this article, and it was great. Also started reading From Hell some time ago but never got too far into it, so I might go back and revisit it now.

September 13, 2010 5:29 pm I'm loving this book but i wish it weren't bi-monthly. Still good enough to pick up in issues instead of trade for me though.

I think the best comic being published right now is Unknown Soldier. Dysart's way of telling this dark story in such a raw emotional way is amazing. Pontacelli's art just makes it all that much more incredible. It's just sad that the book will be ending well before its time.

Coming in a close second would be The Walking Dead.

September 2, 2010 3:09 pm I actually didn't quite like this issue as much as the first. It was still really great though, and my PotW.

Awesome. Walking Dead is my favorite ongoing, and I've been SO looking forward to this. October 31st cant come soon enough.

August 20, 2010 5:13 pm I just started college this week as well, and asked myself the same question. I'll probably be cutting back on what I usually buy, but I'm definitly  not going to be leaving comics altogether. They're too much of something I love to let them just go away.

I've always been a person for the writing, but I've grown to appreciate the art more and more the longer I read. At first I didn't really care about art, and thought that a good story warrented picking up a book, and considering it good. Now, I look at how the art is just as much part of the story as the writing is, but in a bit of a different way. Now I'm not going to say that I'm balanced between the two, I still edge toward writing definitly, but I have came to understand why the art merit's a book just as much as the writing does.
