Greek Street is a series that I’ve been a pretty big fan of since the beginning, but no one else has seemed to have an interest in it. I personally, like the premise, and I think the Eddie, the main character is really interesting.

To me, Greek Street is a story of Eddie’s coming of age. The entire series started with Eddie trying to discover who he was, and that’s what has been the core of the plot since then. I always look forward to the pages of his thoughts becasue it really gives insight into his character, and the way the he really doesn’t believe he fits into society. He is in a pretty bad situation as it is, and the events in this issue and the last make it worse. He’s young, depressed, and lonely, so he’s given up hope on his life. He’s realized that he has nowhere to go, and he tries to find anything that can satisfy him.

Another thing that I like about this series is that it’s filled with so many weird and crazy things that still haven’t been explained. Many series’ have something good and mysterious going on, but try to explain it, and ultimatly fail and make it loose it’s power to hold your attention. That’s something that I personally felt happened in this week’s Sweet Tooth, but that’s a whole other story.

Overall, I thought this was a good comic, but probably my least favorite of the four so far. I would have to say this simply because I didn’t enjoy the art as much in this issue as the others, and it seemed to lack the punch that the others did. I guess it was mostly because this issue focused on the three singing girl’s murder mystery and the gang war’s while I’m much more interested in the character of Eddie and his development. But that’s just a personal preference with me, and I understand that these storylines have to be told as well, and I’m willing to give them some time to tell them. I’ll definitly keep buying this monthly, and I hope it runs for a long time. I reccomend everyone to at least pick up the first issue since it’s only a dollar if you haven’t picked it up yet.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 3 - Good
