The last issue of this series was an absolute mess, so I went into this book with very low expectations. That being said, this book was a blast to read. It wasn’t the deepest character study, or anything entirely new, but it was a very fun story and good re-introduction of Moon Knight into the mainstream Marvel Universe.

The story itself in this issue was a pretty well executed one-shot tale of the Secret Avengers, and how Moon Knight has been integrated into the operations of the team. Now the story wasn’t perfect, it certainly felt rushed in a few places, but more than anything, it just felt fun. And honestly, thats something thats been missing from a lot of superhero comics recently, and it definitly wasn’t something I expected out of a Moon Knight book. So it was more of a surprise than anything, and I liked that. The only major problem that I had with this is that I was hoping for a little more explanation about how Moon Knight came onto the team, and just why Steve Rogers wanted him there in the first place.

The art in this issue by Juan Jose Ryp was also much better than the last issue’s, so I was pleasently surprised by that as well. So overall, this was a good issue for anyone interested in a quick story about the new Secret Avengers team.
