Name: Frank Kim

Bio: Grew up reading Chris Claremont's Uncanny X-Men (when Wolverine was still a badass with a sense of honor) and the Wolfman/Perez The New Teen Titans.  Lost track of comics after Crisis on Infinite Earths and during the 90's in particular, but picked it up again after The Dark Knight Returns and Strikes Again.  If you don't think the Spider-Man movies are works of genius, you've lost all credibility with me.

Sweet Spidey head tattoo Carlie had on her hip, kinky. Why is Wolverine there? What’s he gonna stab some of…

Again, Wolverine making light of stabbing, guess this must be just Aaron’s version of him. Would’ve liked more if there…

Thought the art was a little less stylistic and a bit more conventional in this one…maybe McCarthy’s been reading this…

August 31, 2011 5:24 pm The fact that the entire history of the DCU up until now has been erased and rewritten in a 'flash' will take some getting used to, didn't really like this issue, thought the back and forth between Batman and GL was lame, and didn't think anyone could just pull off a GL ring while they were using it. Johns writes some questionable stuff sometimes.
August 31, 2011 5:19 pm I guess in preventing himself from stopping his mother from getting killed, which changed the DCU timeline into the Flashpoint timeline, Flash put things back to where they were before he did that, but it didn't really go back to normal, it became a whole new timeline in itself, which begs the question, how did Thomas Wayne know the timeline it would go back to still would include Bruce in it? That remains unexplained.
August 30, 2011 3:18 pm It's good to see the arrow drawn on the right side of the bow for once.
August 19, 2011 6:39 pm There were some laughable points in this.
August 19, 2011 6:36 pm That was incredible, love Chriscross art, a great send-off.
August 19, 2011 1:54 pm Has this book always been this hokey? Well, the Hellfire-minis took some getting used to, but I started laughing after Magneto threw that car through the window, and thought Wolvie running down the street on top of cars was hilarious.
August 18, 2011 5:22 pm Last time I checked Wolverine has enhanced-senses, think he would've noticed the Thing hiding there. Aren't editors supposed to see that kinda stuff, or is that all the writer? Pretty impressive how the Hulk can have the strength to break Adamantium bones, seen him do it to Wolvie before in other stories. Let me get this straight, looked to me Reed turned at the end, but was still loading that cart? Except for some minor issues, this has been a great series. Wolverine has sounded spot on, and there's some powerful moments and dialogue in this from his perspective. Laurence Campbell hits a home run in this one, again, but who decided upon the half-mask, battle-damaged Wolverine look, classic.
August 16, 2011 6:46 pm Don't like Aaron's characterization of Wolverine in this, and the Sentinels being all defective in this is lame I think. I like this Children of the Corn version of the Hellfire Club, but don't think they'd hold a candle to Hellfire Club's of the past, with the likes of Sebastian Shaw, Selene, and Mastermind. There was something hypocritical to me about Scott's decision to lie to Commander Rogers and hide this Quire guy, this after he attends an international arms conference in an attempt to reach out to the global community, but it was also weird to see Wolvie hiding the guy after he objected to Scott's decision. He's been an Avenger, he's worked with Steve, thought Wolvie would've had some respect for Steve Rogers at least and turned him in himself.
August 16, 2011 6:32 pm This last run has been great, been lovin the sorta resurgence by Chriscross in this too, great facial expressions.
August 16, 2011 6:28 pm Can't remember, did we see the shield in the first issue? Guess they fixed it then, cus this def happens after FI for me.
