Seeing the Nail in action was too intriguing to pass up, and I enjoyed this comic.  The way each member of the Nail have their own unique history was interesting, and was fun to see CWing orchestrate each member's role on the team.  I liked that there was an inter-squad conflict between CWing and Black Lotus, and it rang true to me how CWing would be motivated by the prospect of learning more of her mom.  Was also kinda cool how Makro may have some sorta connection with Dr. Octavius, I'm curious about that; but the funnest character and my favorite has gotta be Cherry Blossom.  She reminds me of Gogo Yubari from O-ren Ishii's crew on Kill Bill: Vol. 1.

Guess I don't mind this little all girl group dynamic thing here, I mean how many of those are out there in comics?  Especially when they're as fun, sexy, and diverse as this; and with some sort of deep-seated history behind them apparently.  No problem with seeing how this pans out in the whole Shadowland story at least, especially since I'm not even following the main series title.
