Very much a stretch that a Pharaoh wouldn't take the opportunity to weaponize something, anything, much less an alien metal that imbues metahuman powers; and at first thought it was kinda ridiculous that all of a sudden they say Queen Shrike had the ability to control all Nth metal, like a Magneto of only Nth metal, but come to think of it, it's kinda cool in a way too, but it almost felt like they were just making stuff up on the run.

Didn't like how Hawkman's eyes were like real eyes with the mask, thought that was strictly a helmet, but maybe it does that cus it's made out of Nth metal?

Hawkman continues to be one of my fave characters, just have always been intrigued with the concept of Nth metal, and the physics involved with having wings on your back in terms of the leverage and acceleration one can generate behind like a mace strike with each flap of your wings, all while hovering above an opponent on solid ground.  Reminds me of the deathblow 'Hawkboy' dealt a decrepit Lex Luthor at the end of The Dark Knight Strikes Again, unsurvivable.  At NY Comic Con, had a conversation with Cliff Chiang about this, said he never thought about it in that way, and it was like a revelation to him. 

But the idea of there being a Hawkworld, and that this somehow ties into the history of the Hawks, or the origin of why they were cursed to die together at the hands of Hath-Set, just all feels a bit contrived to me, and really doesn't do the character due justice I think.  To be honest, I don't quite understand it all, but what does grip me about the story is Hawkman's obtaining that cool warrior's glove, and their attempt to break the cycle of the curse. 

Just wish the story focused perhaps more on how the curse somehow originated on Thanagar, like that it was some sorta mystical Thanagarian curse, and how the Hawks eventually ended up on Earth, and why the curse extended to the different resurrected manifestations of Khufu and Chay-ara; cus always thought it was coolah how the Nth metal originated just from Thanagar, wish they had kept it that way.
