This was the weakest of The Road Home minis I've read so far (haven't read the Ras issue yet).  I mean why didn't we get all of the names of the '7 Men of Death?'  They seemed like interesting and formidable enuf characters, even though one was a dead-ringer for Crossbones from the MarvelU, but why not introduce their names, like is typical of many team books today, with the little badges in the panel with their names on them?  That would've put much more weight on them as assassins for me rather than just fodder for our heroes in this book.

Was also the first of the White Casebook excerpts that I've read that conveyed some doubt and negativity in Bruce's tone, rather than the fresh and hopeful new perspective he's shown previously.  And the way Bruce finally admitted to Oracle he was back seemed a little impersonal to me, considering the history between these two.  The flashback between Barbara and Bruce, a scene that obviously was an epilogue to events from The Killing Joke, seemed forced and wasn't very convincing to me, in fact was almost annoyed with Bruce in that scene.

The art in this was nothing special, just purely adequate; considering the potential for awesome action scenes in this, was all-in-all disappointed really.
