This was pretty good, simply put, Arlem's detail is amazing.
Kryptonians are apparently not immune to all too human character flaws: jealousy, envy, self-doubt, vanity....was surprised to see Kal's father object to his 'becoming' Superman, and also Kal-El's response to Lex. Kal could've been gracious enough, happy that his sister was safe, instead was resentful. A lot of different plot-lines and conflicts brewing in this that are interesting to watch: what's gonna happen with the whole Rao thing Kal's mother is endorsing, Kal's embracing or hating on Lex for monopolizing his father's attentions, how the twins establish themselves in the world, what are the Doomsday's next move, what was the nature of Kal's dream with him entering the House of El.
By the way, what does the 'S' stand for in the first place, how did it become the symbol for the House of El, what is the history behind it, if the moniker 'Superman' is an earthly invention? Realized never knew what it was after this issue.Art: 5 - Excellent
