Liked the art, but I continue to lament how pussy Sentinels have become. I've heard some peeps here say they aren't "X-Guys," but coming from one hardcore one, I long for those days past when a Sentinel almost kills Colossus one-on-one, and it took all of a young Rachel Summers and her Phoenix Force to defeat another. I mean Cyclops and Wolvie just wade through seven Sentinels like they were water! Would've made more sense for Aaron to have setup the Sentinels in this story to be more formidable than that, so that we can at least get a sense that the X-Men are going to be in danger here against them. Obviously, I didn't feel that way after reading this, but I guess that's not really going to be the point of this storyline. Can't see Wolvie really ever saying, "When there's someone around worth following, I follow," to Cyke there. He might be thinking that, but the Wolvie I know wouldn't ever admit that to Cyclops. Furthermore, Wolvie wouldn't really ever glorify "stabbing," and would never make light of the word "killing" like he does with Summers in this. What was intriguing to me about this was Wolvie's developing relationship with this Idie character (what's this girl's mutant power anyways?), and that the main adversaries in this are what seem to be a new Hellfire Club. And just some other minor points from this: still a lil uncomfortable seeing Kitty back, her legacy left by Whedon's genius was just so powerful, woulda liked for that to have remained as it was; and also enjoyed seeing Storm assert herself a lil in this, she's played sucha prominent role in my loving the X-Men in the past, would love to see her step up as more of a leader now here. As far as the alternating artist assignments for this series, I don't mind, because at least with the next two issues we're not getting a downgrade in talents with Frank Cho and Acuna. Hate it more when they switch artists mid-series with a pretender with a "similar" style.
