June 21, 2013 3:44 pm As soon as I saw that page in Hulk I knew it was destined to be a panel of the week.
June 21, 2013 10:37 am Yeah I'm a little diasppointed in the last two issues of this. I'm not going to pick up any of the continuation stories to this other than I might check out the Galactus in the Ultimate Universe one if it looks good. Overall I think the event had a lot of potential and started farily strong but that just kind of fizzled at the end.
June 20, 2013 2:21 pm Glad they got this done, never doubted they would but it's still nice to know for sure that he's coming back.
June 18, 2013 4:11 pm I like that it makes him older (even if it is just a year), the only thing thats really ever bothered me about the character is how young he is, and that in itself isn't a huge deal.
June 18, 2013 10:47 am This sounds interesting, I wonder how they are going to make this whole sister thing work out. Either way, Mark Waid writing Spider-man is a must read for me.
June 17, 2013 2:24 pm This was a lame ending to a not so great series.
June 17, 2013 11:33 am I got into comics and in particular Spider-man shortly after this story, Mark Bagley is still my favorite Spider-man artist and drew the best Venom in my opinion as well.
June 16, 2013 12:39 am I was going to answer this, but Paul's answer is pretty much perfect.
June 16, 2013 12:18 am @WilliamTrinity There is no scene in this movie where he is older and gives any kind of indication he cares about anyone finding out who he is. Heck, he's willing to watch his father die but not Lois, someone he doesn't even know. At least he should have tried to cover up who he was or something. And even after that he just concedes who he is without any sort of challenge or anything. And the writing, which makes a big deal about protecting his identity a big deal, doesn't even allow for it to be plausible that people can't figure out who he is when they have Zod's grew go to the Kent Farm and Smallville. They even take the time to point out at the end of the film that the government wants to know who he is with the satellite thing, when it should absolutely be perfectly obvious who he is. No way the US or if they introduce Lex in the next movie can't figure that out, especially considering Lois figured it out in like 2 days. It makes his father's sacrifice seem hollow to me.
June 15, 2013 5:25 pm Ha, I totally noticed that. That had to be intentionally done by the special effects guys.
