Well this is easily the least good ASM in a while, but I guess overall it really wasn't terrible.  I did kind of like the retelling of the wedding with the "new" story woven in, but there are a few things I really don't  like in this issue:

1.  The thing MJ whispers to Mephisto is that he has to leave Peter alone for the rest of his days?!  Really?  Thats it?  Wow.....surely there is more to it than that.....

2.  I'm glad that Peter missed his wedding because he was taken out by a fat crook who couldn't even pull off killing a cop in his sleep at night.....they couldn't have come up with something better than that?  I mean, I get that Mephisto obviously interfered with it but still, it just seems kinda dumb...but I guess it fits into the original story so whatever.

3.  I know the arc isn't done yet, but it seems with what we have seen they are going to have a hard time explaining why MJ still remembers Peter is Spider-man, I had assumed it was going to have to do with what she whispered to Mephisto but I guess not.

On the plus side the art was pretty good, especially the cover, and the Stan Lee backup continues to entertain, even if it is only 2 pages long.  Also, it is good to have MJ back, as I have always been a fan of hers and hopefully this will be the begining of her being back in ASM.
