Don't read this review if you don't want to know who dies in this issue!!

But for those who want to know, as many of us had guessed, it was indeed Nightcrawler who meets his end in this issue.  As a pretty big Nightcrawler fan, I have to say I'm pretty sad to see him go, though I do not think he has been getting as much face time until very recently anyways.  I am, however, comforted by the facts that no one in the Marvel Universe stays dead (or trapped in a space bullet) for long, and that Nightcrawler went out in a heroic (though slightly brutal) way.  While it was a bit of a gory death, overall, it was handled very well.  The best scene for me was Wolverine realizing who it was that had died and simply muttering "elf" with a saddend look on his face.  As for the rest of the book, it was very well written and had a great, fast pace to it, even with the sad ending.  The art for me was excellent.  I found myself going back and skimming through the book a few times after finishing just to appreciate some of the great scenes and layouts.  Second Coming has been a BIG surprise for me so far, and this issue just continued the great issues in this X-event, and may have been the best issue so far.
