June 4, 2012 2:18 pm 5, not sure if i'm excited by any of them, and I never thought that i'd contemplate dropping a comic titled Avengers vs. X-Men, but if this week doesn't offer something better, goddamnit Marvel, be better. I imagine Animal Man & Dial H will be pretty sweet though, hopefully Secret will grab me more than the first issue as well. But in general comic lethargy today, perhaps bought on by the Queen deciding to stop me getting my comics till Thursday. BQ: A Toy Story prequel, a short about the first toys. That I think would be good.

May 29, 2012 12:22 pm I was fine with his art until someone pointed out the womans faces, just an awful glass-shatter moment and now it really annoys me. Little bit of hatred for the gal who pointed that out to me.

May 29, 2012 12:09 pm Oooooohhhh, pretty excited for tommorow. Six comics, Peter Panzerfaust & Lil Depressed Boy (who looks like he might become Lil Happy boy for a bit) seem to be the highlights for me, though I have a feeling the Animal Man annual might blow me away. However I do also finish university tomorrow, so I might end up drunkenly picking up more than just the 6, who knows. BQ- Awful awful revison, 51 page review paper, never again I tells ya.

May 14, 2012 8:15 pm Ugh, I saw that on your list and didn't know what it was, just checked and realised and now I'll have to hope my comic book store has it when I pop in, also technically i'm now on ten if I get Hardcore as well because i've ordered Delilah Dirk & The Seeds of Good Fortune which ships tomorrow and I imagine will be amazing because The Turkish Lieutenant is. http://www.delilahdirk.com/content/ Check it out, the Turkish Lieutenant is lovely and free and I think Eisner Nominated though i'm not certain. Also I feel you've probably made the right choice with Owls over AvX, the child in me would never have allowed me to not buy AvX (at the least the core comic and the fight book) but it really hasn't been paticularly amazing. And it is hellishly expensive, I now know why my dad seemed so despondent when Age of Apocalypse came out and I was first getting comics and I was just like 'Dad, buy me all of these things please.'

May 14, 2012 6:24 pm Crap that makes me glad i've decided to just get Batman (and just standard Scott Snyder Batman, nothing else) in trades... hate to see what my pull list would look like if I had gotten into Batman and this whole Night of the Owls thing, AvX is already adding a tenner a month to my comic book costs. Also I am really torn over whether to get Dancer or not. I think i'll have to be cheeky and read it in the store and decide whether it's worth buying 9 books.

May 14, 2012 1:09 pm Eight! Eight comics this week, what the hell... I only got back into comics again in January and it was just gonna be two X-Men comics to keep my inner child happy. I'd try and cull but I think the weakest comics I get are probably the X-books and I love them. Madness guys. Madness.

May 7, 2012 6:19 pm Only one comic this week! Might use that as an excuse to check out some comics I might not normally look at. BQ: Revising a Neurodegenerative Diseases module and realising there's nothing to revise because we know so little.
