Nice week, we’ve got some Invincible, quality Batman and X-Men comics, G.I. Joe, Fatale, Punisher, nice stuff.
BQ: I’m annoyed by numerous unjust laws in USA, and in particular I’m annoyed by the people elected to make these laws.
Looking forward to reading the Bat books. I’m annoyed that I have to wait until sunday to revel in the majesty that is the Avengers movie. My mom wants to see it for mother’s day. Best mom ever.

My mom loved it – she is in her 60’s and doesn’t read comics. she thought Black Widow was supposed to be an X-Men.
She loved Avengers though and said it made her want to go back and re-watch the other movies.

BQ: I’m annoyed at people that want the new Spider-Man and X-Men movies to fail so that “Marvel Studios get the rights”. What happened to caring about the actual quality of the movies? First Class was fantastic and Amazing looks great too. Isn’t that what’s most important?
I agree with you there, I’m very glad First Class is getting a sequel, so much potential there. Imagine if they set one in the early 80s, hell yeah.

Excited for Batman. With the Batman hardcover, Batman and Robin, and Batman, this looks to be the week of the bat. Also excited about Uncanny X-force. An oversized issue is always welcomed.
BQ: I’m annoyed that I have to work on Friday night and Saturday night.
This is a big 19 pull week for me and I just barely will be finishing last weeks books hopefully tonight and I am still waiting for Mind Gap to show up so I may have a 20 pull week not to mention all the hopefully free comics my store pulled for me since I could not attend the FCBD at my store do to prior scheduling. I am hoping that I can get stop at the store on the way home and grab my free ones and Mind Gap will be there and I can get those all read tonight after the gym and before bed.
I know, I know what a wonderful problem to have right? Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! I need to start cutting back it is getting way to expensive and I am so addicted to so many books now I do not what the heck I am going to do.
Good luck to all the other heavy pullers this week as well, it’s gonna be a tough week and I am putting my POW money on Suicide Squad and the clunker for the week will be?? I am not sure??

My pick of the week, though its not out yet is Frankenstein Alive Alive. I thought I’d missed out on it, so I’m super-psyched!
BQ: All the L.A. Laker haters.
It’s a weird week in that I have some good stuff and some stuff that’s definitely on the chopping block (and probably should have been chopped before now).
Specifically, I’m thinking Grifter and Deathstroke (That’s right; I’m the guy who’s been buying those series. I have no idea why. It may be some sort of post-hypnotic suggestion.)
As for the BQ: Tight, binding underwear.
Only one comic this week! Might use that as an excuse to check out some comics I might not normally look at.
BQ: Revising a Neurodegenerative Diseases module and realising there’s nothing to revise because we know so little.
I like weeks like this. It’s an average amount filled with quality. Fatale and Punisher are my favorites of the bunch, but it’s good all around.

BQ: pain, I have had problems with my legs for the past year ( at times I could not even walk, I was stuck in a bathtub for over an hour last fathersday) and my elbow problems are back only a few months post operation. It sucks being in pain all the time, I feel sorry for those who have it worse then me and really appreciate being able to walk more then ever. Oh yea and people at the job are assholes lol.

Always trust Diamond, never trust the websites for the publishers. They don’t update that stuff regularly enough on their websites, even though you’d think it’d be a good idea for consumers.

BQ: I feel like this is a trap. Cause if you’re asking about complaining then I AM YOUR MAN! But if I don’t want to go on a full on rant here I will say one thing that annoys me more then anything. Finding a job. Seriously, I know the economy is rough but I have applied to 170+ places since graduating in December 2011. What have I done as a result? Only 3 interviews…..Only 3. I know I am not the most qualified person out there but you’d think at least someone is going to be somewhat interested. Also, most of these jobs are still ‘open’ so I don’t know why companies are taking half a fucking year to say ‘ya’ or ‘nay’ and….Okay sorry end rant.
It’s a pretty damn slow week for me with only 2 Batman books to keep me occupied. So I’ll really be neck deep in Court of the Owls this week.
